Lately it's been more than a year, since we released the Distante - Demo 2021 7" together with En El Desierto - Straight Edge Fanzine and the resonance has been overwhelming so far. Some might say this could be a potential #youthcrew classic. Here's another brand new review from our comrades in DIY Conspiracy .

"I really like this demo because it captures the youthful energy and passion of the classic sound pioneered by bands like Youth of Today and Insted in a really honest and fun way. Consisting of five tracks with lyrics in Spanish, singer Pauli screams the words “straight edge” on only two tracks (“Contramano” and “Resurgir”), but you can tell that all the songs revolve around straight edge themes, some in a more subtle way than others. Meaningful hardcore first and foremost, with five fast, angry and melodic straight edge anthems that stay true to the ‘youth crew’ canon and say everything that needs to be said."

„Ich mag diese Demo sehr, weil sie die jugendliche Energie und Leidenschaft des klassischen Sounds, der von Bands wie Youth of Today und Insted pioniert, auf wirklich ehrliche und lustige Weise einfängt. Sänger Pauli, bestehend aus fünf Tracks mit Texten auf Spanisch, schreit nur auf zwei Tracks die Worte "straight edge" und "Resurgir", aber man merkt, dass sich alle Lieder um Straight Edge-Themen drehen, manche auf subtilerer Weise als andere. Bedeutungvoller Hardcore in erster Linie mit fünf schnellen, wütenden und melodischen Straight Edge Hymnen, die der „Jugendcrew“-Kanone treu bleiben und alles sagen, was gesagt werden muss. "
